She has been known to create music based off her love life. There have been tons of news articles about her relationships such as Harry Styles, Calvin Harris, John Mayer, and now Travis Kelce, a well known Kansas City Chiefs football player.

Rumors began to swirl around July 2023 when Travis Kelce attended the Era’s Tour at Arrowhead Stadium. At the concert, Kelce was seen in his private box handing out friendship bracelets to fans. He admitted in his podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce that he wanted to give Taylor Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it. However, he failed because she doesn’t talk to people before or after her shows.

September 2023

Fast forward to September, rumors increased with multiple references to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dating. Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, told the panelist during Prime’s Thursday Night Football panel, “I don’t really know what’s going on there, but I know Travis is having fun and we’ll see what happens with whoever he ends up with.” This sparked curiousty to fans wondering who he was currently dating and who Jason could be referring to.

As the month continued, Rich Eisen, a sports commenter for NFL Network, dropped plenty of references about Taylor Swift. One of which he posted a picture on Instagram and captioned it “Look what you made me do, @killatrav.” The Chiefs player ran along with the joke by replying “Well played Rich….well played 👏🏻😂.”

Kelce started to set the record straight during The Pat McAfee Show about inviting Taylor Swift to watch him play at the Arrowhead Stadium. He didn’t mention if they had met in person yet, but he stated that he told her, “I’ve seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s more lit.”

On September 24, 2023, Taylor Swift was caught at the Chiefs Football game alongside Kelce’s mother in his suite cheering on the star football player. A source told PEOPLE that once Swift heard about the invitation to go to his game that she did not let anything stop her from attending. After the game, the two were caught leaving the stadium together as Swift wore Kansas City Chiefs football gear and Kelce wore a blue and white denim outfit in reference to her 1989 album.
